Thank you all for making Kolchak Meets the Classic Monsters Monstrous Books' biggest Kickstarter ever!
With just a few hours left in the campaign, I have a bunch of things to reveal for you.
We hit our $100K stretch goal — so now everyone who backs a physical reward will get a newly designed Kolchak Fan Club Membership Card with Russ Braun's art.
The design is in for the eight trading card. This will be part of the 10-card set. Art by Lukas Ketner, with colors by Zac Atkinson.
Here are a few uncolored pages by George Quadros for Steve Niles' "Kolchak Meets Frankenstein story.

The book features three brand-new prose stories as well as seven prose stories from the Kolchak 50th anniversary graphic novel.

Happy Halloween! We Added a Variant Cover & Matt Wagner Signed Comics!

I hope you are all having a great Halloween! And hopefully some of you are dressed as Carl this year. If you are, share pics in the Monstrous Books Facebook group.
I have a couple of treats for you today.
First, I added a variant cover to the Kolchak Meets the Classic Monsters hardcover collection. Count Crowley artist Lukas Ketner did the art. It's not finished. He still needs to ink and color it but we wanted to get it into the campaign as soon as possible so you can add it to your order. You can do so by going to "Manage your pledge" and then "Change your pledge."
Lukas's cover will be limited to only 500 copies. And he's agreed to sign 25 copies.
Speaking of signed copies. Matt Wagner has agreed to sign 25 copies of his Kolchak - Count Crowley cover. They're available as add-ons as well as a reward tier.
And don't forget, we also added a limited-editon Kolchak Meets Konga print signed by Spider-Punk artist Justin Mason.

BONUS STORY ADDED
KOLCHAK MEETS KONGA
Written by James Aquilone, with art by ZacAtkinson and lettering by TomNapolitano. Inside cover by JustinMason.
This story will be available in the hardcover collection as well as the digital edition of Kolchak Meets the Classic Monsters — so now it will have 4 stories.
If you didn't know, Matt Wagner and Kelley Jones are back with DRACULA: BOOK II–THE BRIDES, the second installment of their graphic novel series chronicling the secret history of everyone's favorite vampire. I'm helping out with the campaign and even shipped out all of Book I's rewards — my poor back! — so I know how good these books are.
Fans of 80s slashers, see what might have been. RIPPED TO SHREDS is a period-authentic graphic novel adaptation of the infamous lost slasher screenplay from 1980. Includes a complete retro-style soundtrack, and "stars" the 80s likenesses of Russell Todd and Lauren-Marie Taylor from "Friday the 13th Part 2." it's like watching an actual 80s slasher movie... in comic book form.

The campaign is kicking butt. We had the best first week ever on Kickstarter and we're trucking along.
When we hit $75K, everyone will get a free trading card that's not part of the 10-card set. I'm going to reveal card #11 hopefully next week. This is a fun one.
Here's a closer look at the 10-card set.
Card #1 has art by Russ Braun with coloring by InakiAzpiazu.
Card #2 has art by Gabriel Hardman
Good news! I already have the "In Kolchak We Trust" Challenge Coins! I couldn't resist ordering them. They're nice and heavy and they'll be your new lucky charm.
My friends at GenSeven comics are Kickstarting a very cool graphic novel. Please, check it out...
From Strangers Things and Into the Badlands actor ShermanAugustus comes Daughters of Django — a 100+ page Western graphic novel about three gunslinging women in search of their infamous father.

We had a record-breaking day yesterday. Because of you, we raised more money on Day 1 than any other Monstrous Books or Kolchak campaign. Thank you! Kolchak fans are the absolute best. By the way, who's dressing up as Kolchak this Halloween?
STRETCH GOAL
For our $50K Stretch Goal, we're going to add another story to the Kolchak Meets the Classic Monsters' deluxe hardcover and digital editions. So now you get 4 stories! We'll reveal more about the bonus story soon.
ORIGINAL ART ADDED
We just added another piece of original art. Dave Acosta is offering the pencils and inks for his Kolchak Meets the Classic Monsters cover. You'll get BOTH of the 11"x17" sheets for $1250.
I made this an add-on so backers can add it their pledges. I'll give you all 36 hours to grab it before I make it a reward tier.
