FULFILLMENT

Though some people think we're late, we're actually right on time. The estimated delivery has always been December 2025. I had thought, and hoped, we'd be done sooner, but we hit a few delays.

Rewards have already started going out. If you didn't order Issue 3 or the Hardcover Collection, you're rewards are going out this week. You will receive a tracking number. Check your Spam folder if you don't see it.

Some of you may get Issues #1 and #2 and Kolchak Eras sooner, too. (Let me know if you want your rewards sooner; I may be able to split shipments, sending what's ready now and then send Isssue #3 and the Hardcover later.)

I expect Issue 3 to arrive in about 3 weeks and the Hardcover Collection soon after that. We'll keep you updated.

Here's an uncolored splash page by Justin Mason.
The new Kolchak Fan Club Membership Cards are here with that amazing artwork by Russ Braun.

Spider-Punk's Justin Mason Joins Kolchak Meets the Classic Monsters!
about 1 year ago – Tue, Sep 09, 2025 at 03:29:38 PM

I have some very exciting news! Justin Mason, the artist for Spider-Punk and The Thing, is illustrating "Kolchak Meets Dracula," written by Rodney Barnes.

We had to switch things up since the script was a little late, but I think we found an amazing replacement and Justin is already churning out amazing pages.

Here's a look at his rough layouts for the issue, which sees Kolchak encounter Count Dracula in 1978 New York.

Justin also did the KOLCHAK MEETS KONGA pinup for us and he just sent back the signed copies for that.

The entire project should be done by the end of the month.

Because I've been getting emails, I should stress that we need to finish "Kolchak Meets Dracula" before we can finish the KOLCHAK MEETS THE CLASSIC MONSTERS hardcover and digital book.

If you didn't pick up the KOLCHAK MEETS THE CLASSIC MONSTERS hardcover digital book or Issue #3 – "Kolchak Meets Dracula," I'll be sending out your rewards now.

In the meantime, might I interest you in some Kaiju awesomenes...

After I wrote KOLCHAK MEETS KONGA, the bonus story in KOLCHAK MEETS THE CLASSIC MONSTERS, I didn't have my fill of Kaiju. So I decided to dedicate an issue of my magazine format comic series to those big monsters.

MONSTROUS: THE KAIJU ISSUE celebrates Godzilla and offers 3 comics (more than 30 pages!) — a new Konga vs. Gorgo story, the debut of my American Kaiju character MegaSquatch, and a bonus story (details coming.) But that's not all — we have a Kaiju prose  story by Greg Cox, who wrote the official novelization of Godzilla (2014), as well as a bunch of articles and Kaiju art.

We have three covers, plus prints, a MegaSqutach T-shirt and our second Challenge Coin — Konga and Gorgo! A perfect addition to your Monstrous coin collection.

Issue #2 Is Here! New Campaign Reveal!
about 1 year ago – Fri, Aug 15, 2025 at 01:12:51 PM

Now we have copies of Kolchak Meets the Classic Monsters #2 - "Kolchak Meets Frankenstein" by Steve Niles. Man, they look good. I really love the purple and black.

Cover by Russ Braun, design by Tom Napolitano. Interior art by George Quadros, with colors by Zac Atkinson.

So that's two out of three issue done and printed. Issue #3 is being illustrated now. I should have art to show soon. We're almost there!

I'm hoping to have everything printed and ready to ship by October.

I think there was some confusion with the last update. Kolchak Eras is a different book than Kolchak Meets the Classic Monsters.

Kolchak Eras is a collection of prose short stories. I recently released the Kolchak Eras ebook. If you didn't purchase it, you won't get a link.

MONSTROUS: KAIJU ISSUE

Do you like big monsters?

We have a very special project coming up.

Here is the first cover reveal for MONSTROUS: THE KAIJU ISSUE, featuring my brand-new character MEGASQUATCH — that's right we turned Sasquatch into a Kaiju. Bigfoot isn't hiding anymore—and he's bigger than ever and angry.

Fangoria has the details on the issue, which is so packed that they'll be a second announcement with the rest of what's in store.

We also have a limited-editon Godzilla cover. (Text to come)

Plus, the magazine is getting embiggened and will now be 8.5 x 11 inches. It will contain several comics, a prose short story by Greg Cox (who did several Godzilla novelizations), as well as articles about kaiju and, of course, the King of the Monsters, Godzilla, who's getting his own cover.

Please, follow the campaign so you'll get an alert when we go live.

DRACULA: BOOK III – THE COUNT

My pals Matt Wagner and Kelley Jones are returning with the third installment of their graphic novel series chronicling the secret history of Dracula.

I'll once again be managing the project. Kickstarter coming soon.

Give it a follow here.
